Cylinder Head/Cam Recommendation

Hello Everyone,

I've got a '94 5.0 short block that I'd like to build for low end torque and good mileage.

Right now I'm thinking of the Edelbrock 1406 carb and Performer intake. I need some advice on heads and a cam.

Edelbrock has a Top End kit but it comes with hydraulic lifters for the cam and head and wanted to go with rollers.

Any ideas?

Thank you

The cam that comes in that top end kit is less than ideal. Stick with a roller and have Ed, Buddy, Chris Straub, Bullet do a cam for you.
