What is the length of stock 8.8 rear in 87-93 Mustang?

Does anyone know what the length of a stock 8.8 rear in a 87-93 Mustang (Looking for both the housing width and also for drum to drum length)? thanks in advance.

Go measure. The axles are 29 5/32" in length each.

I don't know about him, but the reason I want to know is because I don't have an axle to measure. If the axles are both 29 5/32" then it has to be at least about 58 1/3" long face to face, right?

Well if you put the 2 axles together, yes. But then you would not have a center pumpkin in the axle!!!

Go to a yard and measure.
