ground strap make car run bad?

my car been hesitating for awile now and ive changed everything.

i found that my ground strap from the head to the firewall was broke

would that make it hesitate under load and take off if i keep the pedal down??

yeah, cuz it can screw up the grounds to all the sensors and the computer and everything else.....change that thing!

i went to change mine one day (wasn't having the problem, but did it preventively) and when i went to pull the old one off, it snapped in two!
