Anyone have issues with Prothane trans mount being taller?

I put a Prothane transmission mount in my car and now the shifter boot bezel wont snap in to place, the trans seems to be sitting a bit higher. Anyone else run into this? Thanks-Dan

I do believe they make different heights because you need a taller one when swapping in a tremec (3550/tko).

Im alittle confused. The shifter brezel should not be affected by the tranny being a little higher. It snap into place on your center plastic consol.

I run prothane tranny mount dont seem to have a problem. They dont make different hieghts, they only sell one for the foxbody stang. I have run the same mount on my t5 before switching to the TKO500.

I have however run in to a height difference on the prothane motor mounts they do make the motor sit about a half to a inch higher.

FYI, the tremec tailshaft center line is about 1/2"-5/8" higher than the t-5. usually when people switch to a tremec the trans needs to be shimmed up at the mount to maintain stock geometry.

Yes, I uderstand that, infact I have My TKO shimed as well, but that does not relate to the fact that there is only one tranny mount option for the mustang.
