maf sensor help

hey guys i have an 86 gt that im doing a mass air conversion and i was wondering if anyone knew if you could use a 94/95 cobra maf being that im using 24lb injectors and i already have one so that would save me from buying one but let me know thanks

You can use whatever MAF you wish as long as the computer is tuned knowing it has 24lb injectors and the transfer curve from the MAF you used. The 94/95 cobra MAF is actually the same exact unit as the one in the GT. Ford MAFs aren't "calibrated", the difference for the injectors is in the tune. If you don't want to have to tune it for the 24s I would recomend using the J4J1 computer (cobra comp.) and use the MAF you listed.
