mine is down to 2810 with me(180) and a little over 3/4 tank of gas, so 2630 without driver..set of aluminum heads would get me well under 2600 lol

dang, how are you guys dropping another 200lbs?
I estimate i could get to 2900 pretty easy with gutting the interior, and a few other odds and ends. Just cant decide if I really wanna pull the trigger on a gutted interior.... what else is there............ thats not expensive as all get out.....

mine was from a 4cyl car. 79 was the yr. remember to carry a magnet with you. I pd $16 at a upullit jy. i will replace my front bumper setup with a bar, supposed to save 21lbs. Gonna go back to the jy and get the 4cyl. swaybar. Should save another 11 or 12lbs and still help handling. I am not corner carving here, justa dd. I have been following your youtube channel---lol, just seeing what info i can stumble on..

I've thought about the 4cyl swaybar, but my car already gets very light in the corners, and the front end starts bobbing around. So I haven't really felt right about that just yet. Maybe after a tubular k member. thank's for following my channel! What do you mean by info you can stumble on?

Just by reading, watching what other people have done to see what works and what doesn't. What does yours weigh? The only lightening i've done is al heads and the rear bumper so far---i installed a 4pt cage so that offsets the al heads(did the 4pt just for piece of mind)

lost a few more lbs today: remove front sway bar , 24lbs..(will install a 4cyl setup next weekend if necessarry). took 8lbs out of stock hood. removed 6lbs from rear decklid luggage rack(i want the "clean" look anyway). A total of 60lbs in 2 days. Next, drop off al. driveshaft to be cut for the mustang: seats, trimming out decklid., and buying the front bumper bar(saves 21lbs). not much more. I may make a thread of MY progress. Gotta get it weighed to be accurate too.

My stock block turbo car weighs 2900 with me in it at 180lbs. This is with a mild steel kit. Front mounted a/a intercooler, meth injection and full mild steel exhaust with tailpipes out the back. Still has power windows and stereo in it but engine harness was cleaned up, door bars and seat belt braces in the quarters removed. Also has boxed through the floor subframes and mild steel cage

u guys think this scale is right? My title says 3010. I just thought this would weigh less than it does, even stock. I weighed my 90 GT w/HCI, alum rad, alum driveshaft,no ac,no spare tire,no front sway bar, summit pro star wheels, skinnies up front & it weighed 3250 w/me (not same scale)

This thread is awesome.... I weighed my 93' Cobra a few months ago and almost fell over. With only reductions being afr heads, and alum driveshaft it came in at 3465 with me in it (200lbs) + 1/4 tank of gas. By far the heaviest fox I've ever owned! Car has dynamat on the doors but that's about all I can think of as far as added weight. Since I refuse to cut up the car I'll be buying another fox in the near future and the weight reduction will start that same day. LOL..

My 88 lx vert was down to 3138 last I had it on a scale. I want to see what it is down to after I switch the iron heads for the TW alum ones I have , and lose a few more things it no longer needs.
