Do I need to switch to a 26 inch tire

Hey guys I have a set of 28 10.5 et drags I went to the track and went slower then last year since I swapped in an automatic and kept my 373s I didn't have my transbrake hooked up then but I got that squared away along with some other issues I found with the car I have since swapped the 373s out for 410s and was told by a few people to get rid out my 28s and get a set of 26s what do you guys suggest any help would be great thanks in advance chris

Only reason to switch them is if you need more RPM at the finish line or they don't fit on the car.

You need to give alot more info to get anymore help than that.

what is the converter. The wrong one can slow you down a bunch.

Its a 306 short block f cam 1.6 roller rockers gt40 upper and lower tubular 1inch spacer world product iron heads aod with lentec vb shorty headers with or h pipe and minor suspenion work

It also gets a shot of spray from time to time between 125 to 175hp
