foxbodies with street radials: bolt-on or p/a times
Just curious as to the (1/8th and 1/4qtr) times people have gotten with a street radial tire on Foxbodies that are bolt-on cars or power adder cars. Gonna try to get the most out of my current car on street tires this year instead of going straight to DR's since I've done that just as i'm sure most of you have. So lets see those times and combo's!

A couple years back a made a pass on some 235/60/15 roadmaster tires, went 1.72 and 11.32 @ 124. stock motor , auto , turbo car.
I might make a few hits this comming season on street tires , bfg traction ta's are about the stickiest regular radials ive come across.

It was a full weight 93gt. The engine had ported brodix heads, ported systemax intake, comp cam and long tubes. It put down 359hp to the wheels on the dyno..

I made probably 20-30 passes on radials with an Eaton M90 blower years ago. 11.99 @ 116.6 with a 1.84 60' on a 255/50/16 BFG non-drag radial was the best. 1/8 mile was a 7.78 (I don't have a mph for the eighth). The car was inconsistent as hell - would run anything from 12.0's to 12.6's in the same night, even a few 14.xx here and there due to tire spin mid track. Pep Boy's Futura's also "hooked" pretty well. But in hindsight...
I cut this crap out in 2002; went to real tires (slicks) after that. Radials are just dangerous and slow. I'm pretty damn sure life insurance policies don't pay out if you kill yourself on a dragstrip. I don't mean to sound like a bitter old man, but it's a lot more fun (and safer) on decent tires. The sense of acceleration on slicks beats the hell out of sitting around spinning or just going slow.
