Thanks . But if your putting a car on the bumper you dont have the car set up correctly 1-2' up is all you want and thats just to help traction anymore than 3' and you just lost the race .

Very nice setup. Did you have any clearance issue with your rear brakes?

Thanks . No clearance issues from what I can see I have about 1/2" or so clearance may be more should measure might help other that may want to do something similar but if I had gone with the cobra rotors it would have very close that much is for sure .

So if you had 2.25" cut off each side, how far did the brakes push the wheels out? It seems like having the rear narrowed 5" the tires would tuck in more. It looks damn good though. Do you have any pictures of the tubs

Thanks for the complement . No the wheels are right on as the axles where custom ordered and I used the northracecar brake brackets that are used to keep the stock axle length but with custom axles it did not make any difference . As for the tubs I made another post earlier on in this same forum or you can go here to see all http://www.cardomain.com/id/capri460

No side skirts or rear bumper I fell in love with this front air dam as it gives the car a mincing look . This is what I have left to do replace the torque boxes ( in 3 weeks ) , 10pt cage installed , paint and this is the color I will be painting the car it is called matador red mica . last get the rest of the parts for my new motor ( just a few parts needed ) Thanks for the complements .

I'm assuming the mufflers brackets arent welded up yet just a guess. I love those wheels thats bout the only wheel I think looks as good as a prostar. Does anyone think you could run that same wheel combo 15x10 with a 295/50mt radial without tubbing. Obviously you'd have to do alot of beating and banging to make them fit. Car looks sick whats the motor combo?

Yea the tire are on the wrong side as I need to move the car so I could fix my other car as the power steering went out . The mufflers need the brackets bolted up underneath .

Yea the muffler hangers need to be bolted up as I needed to fix the other car motor is a little 306 with heavily ported e7 heads motor makes about 350 at the crank I also have a 150 shot . I will be building a 347 in about a year and it should be making about 500hp+ to the wheels + the nitrous shot . Just trying to get all the suspension and safety items done first then paint and last motor .

Look under you car again Fastfox400...he has er right...the brake lines are run down the passenger side under the carpet then threw the floor to the rearend. Not sure what your thinking?

Nice job 460capri...shes getting there! Keep at it (haha...this is one of those "Do as I say not as I do" things). Obviously need to go work on mine now!

Not sure if it makes a difference but my car is a capri and the brake line does not run under the carpet it runs out of the engine compartment then down the inside of the fender well then under the floor staying outside not in the car .

79mustang351 I know what its like I get burned out sometime and dont work on the car for several weeks at times . To get in the mood I sometimes go out to the local hang out on fridays to get the construction juices flowing . Thanks for the compliments guys .

Looks good Scott. Really good. That car has come a long way...

In one of the pix I think I see an ARB, was that a custom deal or an off the shelf unit that was modified? The billet brackets for it look sweet...

BTW, what type of control arms are on there? I couldn't get a good look...

Thanks been working hard over the last year still have a way to go but getting there . The anti roll bar is made by autoweldchassis.com here is a pic and the rear control arms are upr single adjustable ones with spherical bearing on the front but I will be buying some woleracecraft.com offset double adjustable arms in the near future to replace the upr ones as I only have about 3/8" clearence from the lower arm to the tire thats just a little to close for me .

Sweet set up. Did you have to mod any of it to make it work? It looks like a bolt/weld in deal all ready to go...

BTW, did you do all the welding on the axle housing for the ends and brackets or did someone local do it?

Thanks it is a nice set up that is why I bought it . It was to wide for my car the ends had to be cut off . I had a local shop install it and they also did all the welding on the rear .
