Dude, I have searched forever for a set. Unless you find a set of the ones from CCM(good luck) they are virtually impossible to get since CCM has shutdown. I talked to a guy at patriot about 2 months ago for a suggestion. He said this, "Grab your heads, melt them down and mold them into a boat anchor. Then go buy a set of alum. heads."
Fairly blunt, huh. You could always fabricate something, but Im not much of a welder. I just got a set of Brodix to go on my stang.

How many of you would be interested in these headers if a couple sets showed up?

I considered GT40Ps until I discovered only ONE vendor manufactured a header designed for early Mustangs. I called CCM for weeks asking the usual questions (when, how much etc). Their reps ALWAYS had excuses for the excuses. Header design and fabrication is not difficult. JMO the GT40P for early Mustangs was fueled by Mustang rag marketing hype. The biggest clue was not a single major vendor designed a specific header for an early Mustang.

The previous poster is correct--DUMP THOSE HEADS. The GT40P was designed for torque not performance. The GT40Ps are useless w/o headers. +

Oh i think I found a set, well a couple sets of the CCM heads. That's whay I reposted, "How many of you would be interested in these headers if a couple sets showed up?"

Besides I already have the heads on and I have headers. Just the CCM Tri-y would fit so much nicer.

BTW, I don't have a 1st, 2nd or 3rd gen Mustang; I have a Ranger.

Just saw a car this past weekend with P heads and the Ford Powertrain headers. They looked good.

I have a '66 and am installing a 2k Explorer 5.0. Have a cable clutch and Total Control rear mounted rack. I ordered a set of repo hipo exhaust manifolds, they bolt up and clear the plugs great, however I've not installed the engine so don't know of any other clearance issues -looks like it should be fine. I also got the email address of the guy mentioned by MichiganSpecial and he didn't reply so maybe he has sold all the CCM tri-ys.

AL

This is an email from the Ford Powertrain shop mentioned earlier it this thread.
"You are in BIG trouble. We have a tri-Y that we built fot the GT40-P heads but will not work with a cable clutch or a rack ! We have a long tube built fot the cable, the rack but NOT the GT 40 P plug angle. I AM certain no one else covers your combo either."

Once again, DUMP THOSE HEADS!

I'll step off my soapbox.
