Lets see your Two Tone paint schemes...

Please post pics of your two tone cars, custom or stock. I have an idea of colors that I want to try and I haven't seen it done yet. But I want to see everyone else's.

Here is my Notch. The red is a custom pearl that is close to the factory color.

Two Tone Paints

How do I post a picture here?

My mustang is a two tone, yellow on black. We call it the bumble bee.

you areo guys have it easy , you have a real easy breaking point .
I am still trying to decide what to do to the front where it would have been flat black in the center of the front leading edge of the hood ,
where it drops down and meets the grill . Ideas would sure be nice ....I don't think it would look good with an all red front .....

That is close to what I was thinking about...but I was thinking about white pearl on the bottom instead of black, with either a calypso green, teal, terquoise top. I've only seen it on one SN95 and kinda wanted to keep it to myself to maybe have something kinda unique.

Here is a chop of my planned paint job. The only reason I'm going this way is I have a few colors left over from other paint jobs I've done, and I don't think I'll have enough to so a single color paint job. The colors are black, GM bright teal pearl, and silver. I'm going to pinstripe around the silver stripe and the black/teal break, but I havent decided on what colors to use for that. The trim will also be painted, I'm just not a very good 'chopper yet!

351 - what color did you use for the lower and pinstripe? That is exactly the look I am going for and debating a color similar to yours or possbily a grey/silver. I am thinking of doing a flat black hood around the '83 hood scoop on my '90.

Yes, I am missing a lugnut. Sadly, thats not the only thing missing on my car. I cant find the turbo anywhere!

I love stangs with 2 tones, I've been looking for colors that go well together. That first one and the red and black fox are tight.

beautiful looking cars... great work guys. i guess the "chip foose" look/color is growing on people. or is it more like the "harley davidson" color scheme?? it doesn't matter, those colors belong together.
also, instead of doing top/bottom two-tones, think about other two-tone designs, like left/right, front/back, half/half, or start at the trunk lip, across the body and end at the front bumper lip. mix it up abit.

This is as close to two-tone as I have at the moment. I wonder if having a vert posted will qualify as worthy of this thread Seriously, I would like someone to photo"chop" these for me to complete the black and silver two-tone just like the other two coupes posted as I am thinking of doing this. Any help would be appreciated....thank you.

My next project will be a coupe with a black and white two-tone cloning a Police Interceptor vehicle. I love them enough to mimick their paint scheme.

These are all real nice examples. I've debated over and over about doing a two tone on a fox, but never seen any that looked right. But these are good. Even the factory look grey on blue one is nice!

Thank you for taking the time to do this. I actually like it. I think with different wheels and a lower stance I can pull it off.

Having Black Interior I think helps when having the top down.

How does everyone else feel about this?

I did not mean to hijack this thread, but at the same time do not want to start "another" two tone topic.

Again...thank you for taking the time.

Yea, i think that is the problem. I don't think it would look right if the top was silver, and the top being black would throw it off.

True enough.....DOH! I wasn't considering the top.....

Mainly because my coupe is titanium and I'm considering the same color combo.....but I'm also thinking silver top, red, white or comp. orange lower color??????
