^^Is that my Vert? LoL.

Please post pics of this when done so I can see. A couple of posts earlier you can see my vert photoshopped.

Now I am wondering...Did you steal my idea? Do I get any credit if you did? Or am I s&*t out of luck for not having the sack to just go ahead and do it first?

It is going to look sweet when comlete. Keep us posted.

Actually I got the idea from the 100th anniversary Harley truck. I thought it would look good so I said what the heck. I was first going to paint it all black, but there's so many black mustangs out there I wanted to do something different. I will post pics up when I have the finished product (either tomorrow or wed.).

OMG! That looks amazing. Good luck and PLEASE keep us posted on the rest of the build. What motor combo do you have? Do you race the car? Nice!

May I suggest a different color stripe other than white. Maybe red? No joke...red or a fire orange?

Edit: Never mind...I read your sig and see the mods...

The stripe is actually painted on, I was almost going to go with a blue stripe, but I didn't. Mods are in sig. It should be done by Wednesday so I will post pics of the finished product. Thanks

here's a photo shop I had done that is close to what I want, but he didnt make the blue as dark as I wanted it. it will also have some pearl in it to bring out the lines. I may change out the rear spoiler to one with less bulk. The silver on it now has some blue pearl, but not much, so im going to go with a brighter silver as well.

Its funny to me that I've been planning this scheme for about a year, just havent had the money to get it done, and never sen one like it, and all of the sudden its all over the place.

Could someone with good photoshopping skills take Allanon's car, keep the blue up top, and edit in an "anthracite" color on the bottom? I'm thinking of doing that blue over a color that will match antracite bullit rims. It would be GREATLY appreciated! It's supposed to go to paint on 07/17/06!

If someone could go a step further even, and photoshop in some anthracite bullet rims with the blue-over-anthracite, I'd be eternally grateful!

Thanks!

Thanks for the quick job. Is there any way, when you get time, that you could use the same blue that he has (I'm not sure if you can do that/how it's done...don't know how to use photoshop). Also, could you pull the blue, once you get the correct blue on there, down to the stock paint line. I'm keeping the stock scheme, just changing the colors (from Reef Blue/Silver to Dark Shadow Metallic Blue/Anthracite).

Thanks again for the quickie!

Just got home where I can see the pictures of your car, stangermatt. That's exactly the blue I'm wanting, and I'm going to paint the bottom to match the Anthracite Bullits. I, too, am keeping the stock paint scheme. While the paint line higher up on the body looks really really good on the coupes, I don't think it looks as good on the GT's.

Thanks for replying with your photos. I wasn't able to view them at work.

what is the name of the color you used?
is it the dodge copper? I have been looking for a good copper color for mine(my wife and I saw a ricer car that color and liked the color)
I would like to know any info you have on it.
BTW do you have any pics with the top up so I can get an idea of what it would look like on my car?(I have a hard top)
also do you have a stripe between colors?(hard to tell)
kinda strange I see this tonight because we just saw the color tonight.

There are some beautiful cars in here. I thought I was being unique when I bought my car a year ago wanting to 2 tone it. It's an all white lx vert with a porno red and black mix interior. I plan on black/white 2-tone, same body split as everyone else here. I was hoping to find a decent carbon fiber low cowl hood and trunk. Any ideas? I think with a black top, dark dark windows, and the carbon as a light touch, it will look great. Throw in some ASA JH8 18" rims with the black spokes and chrome center/lip and it will make me nut up everytime I go get in it...lol

i would leave it alone, maybe the side skirts, but you already have the mach 1 molding in the front bumper, it looks clean, and being a wingless makes it moooooooooooore clean

makes sense...might as well leave it alone outside..start working underhood dress-up and interior..have started with the billet inside..don't want to overdo it..i like the classy yet standout look

Hello everybody. I just bought this GT last Wednesday. It didn't sell on e-bay, so I went to see the car, and we struck a deal. This is a pic he had on e-bay. It's a clean stock car that was repainted in 98.

painting

How many of you guys painted your own cars? I would really like to get into painting. I think it would be a great hobby and might even get good at it. I'm looking for any tips or pointers. I'm starting from scratch. No compresser or anything yet. I've always got great advice and tips on here, I found out if you have a question, this is the place to ask it.
I had to get few body parts for my car and of course they are not the same color, so I figured this would be a great time to change my car alittle bit, It's solid black right now, I was thinking about just painting the bottom half another color right now, maybe a dark gray?

I painted mine, but instead of a compressor, gun etc... I used Spray cans and some Tape , bought some Books too , I was going to let a profesional paint it, so thats why I painted it with Spray, just bought orange and yellow and thats what i got, despite the spray, all i wanted was to design somo scheme so thats what i did,and now i know i can do better, Right now the car is being painted All over with some blue-purpule paint...

But again, i did it because it was going to be painted by a professional later, so you could do it, but instead of a spray, go buy a compressor, youll need anyways it if you are the tipical Do-it-yourselfer

Here's a link to the e-bay auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=170004254368
I can't figure out how to post pictures without hosting them on a website, and I don't have that much room left on my webpage. The interior is near perfect. The engine bay is not so perfect, but I'm working on cleaning it up. I got all of the spots off the intake. I sanded and painted the radiator brackets. I've got more to go, but I like the car!
