1.7 roller rockers on 1994 mustang gt

How benifical would 1.7 roller rockers be on a near stock 94 gt? mods are: k&n filter, bypassed smog pump, gutted factory h-pipe, removed air silencer.
I can get a new set of ford racing 1.7's for $200. would they make a decent (noticable) difference? also would i need to modify the computer or anything else to get it to run right? thanks for all help.

No noticable difference. Maybe 1-2HP.

I have them, but they were on the car when I bought it. So I guess I can really help you. I dont find the car revs any high then a stock one though. I shift right at 5k on the shiftlight. Any higher and my times drop.

I would do underdrive pulleys, or full exhaust or a cold air intake long before I would mess around under the valve covers. Just me .2cents.

Get a new intake or have the stock one ported by Tmoss. The stock intake and heads don't flow enough to take advantage of the extra lift 1.7's give you. Best bang for the buck on engine parts are heads and intake.

I put a ported Cobra intake on at the same time as 1.72 roller rockers and it made a noticable improvement...can definately feel it. Motor is otherwise stock except headers.
