Question Anyone use the Dyna-Module TFI?

I just saw an ad in a magazine from "Performance Distributors" (makers of the Screamin Demon coil) and they show a 5.0 Dyna-Module TFI for our cars. The thing that fits on the pass. fender beside the airbox. It caught my attention because I put a Pro-M PIH/A9L computer in my car and Pro-M told me I would have to update my ignition to a MSD or Crane because of something to do with less dwell time with the A9L or something. So I have the MSD6-BTM and MSD TFI coil which all works great. This ad for the module says: "The 5.0 module has more dwell time in it to provide more coil saturation time. This extra dwell time allows the coil to produce a more intense spark" Would this be a good thing to try? Especially with the PIH swap? Have any of you used this item and if so, did it make any difference? Is there any downside to more dwell time? Thanks

Well.. I have one... and it was in my car for a couple years... and one day I was trouble shooting a problem, and switched it out for new Ford piece.. and didn't notice anything... so rather than going through the trouble of putting the Dyna-mod back in, I just left it alone....

I run the PD ignition system. I was gonna do the TFI module by itself, but opted to buy the entire system...no complaints here..it sounds like its what the doctor ordered in your position...sounds like you have beeefy ignition parts all around it anyway...

I have the perf. dist kit on my car. When I installed it, the car was n/a. I did not really notice a difference.

Not to hijack your thread but, will the dyna-module work w/ a crane hi-6 box?

I'm pretty sure I had my Crane HI-6 at the time... I guess with the lower power level I was running, I would never feel the little difference it made.. Now if I was racing every weekend, and actually had some consistancy, I probably would have noticed... Who knows?
