What size are 94/95 throttle bodies?

Is it true that the stock TB's on the 94-95's are 65mm? I measured the opening on my 94 GT and it's 3 inches wide, which translates to roughly 75mm,then narrows down to what I believe is 65mm! I'm so pissed.I just ordered an FMS 65mm TB and it will be here shortly.Am I the only one or do all 94/95's have 65mm TB's?

The 95 GT T.B. is actaually 60mm, so by going with the FRPP 65 mm you will be gaining performance. The 94/95 cobra's were supposedly produced with the 65 mm T.B as standard but there is nothing that identifies that on the throttle body itself. The FRPP 65 mm T.B. will have 65mm stamped on the throttle body that you can see. I went with an edelbrock 70 mm on my Cobra and It works well with my modifications. See Ya!!!

The GT's and the Cobra's both came with 60mm TB's.

To reitrate, The part number for the throttle Body on a 94 Cobra and a 94 GT are exactly the same. I was looking seriously at buying a 94 Cobra and I opened the hood of my Gt and the Cobra and compared the part number of the sticker and they were both the same.
On a sad note, the only reason I didn't get the Cobra was that he was asking so much I couldn't sell my car for 3000$ less than his asking price. 3000$ was the amount I had talked my wife into letting me spend to move into that Cobra.

Am I measuring the throttle body wrong?Am I suppose to measure the backside rather than the front opening? But really,I took off the inlet hose from the front of the throttle body on my 94 GT and measured the diameter in inches. What came up with was 3 inches=75mm. Even on ebay, everyone claims their stock GT/Cobra TB is 65mm.I've only seen 58mm for sale in the Brother's Performance catalog but only for V6 stangs.Has anyone else measured the diameter opening on their 94/95 throttle bodies?

The stock TB on my '95 was 60mm. I had it bored out to 63mm and a new plate put in. You really can't go by the measurement where the inlet tubing goes, you have to go by the inside where the plate is.
