1995 5.0 MAF Issue - No Start

Interesting problem - unplugged MAF by accident while car was idling, and car shut itself off. Plugged MAF back in, no start. Car won't start with MAF unplugged either. Car cranks but does not fire at all.
Car has SCT chip and aftermarket C&L MAF.

Tried: disconnecting battery, cleaning MAF, checking fuses and connections, fuel pump primes, only have codes 511 (probably from the chip) and unknown code 133 (the slow flashes 1, then 3, then 3, then no more flashes). NO spark from the coil. No spark without SPOUT.

Noticed an exposed wire on the MAF harness, possibly grounded out when I unplugged the maf? Could that fry the TFI?

Been fighting with this for over a day now, no change.

Has anyone else has this issue? Haven't found anything like this

lets assume you did not short the ecm, as it is possible from what you describe

lets focus on the no spark, as the ecm is NOT needed to make spark

backprobe the PIP off the TFI, should be the top wire, but you check

tell us the voltage in run, then tell us what it is during cranking

Tested the Pip and the TFI - traced the issue back to a faulty coil (1.8kohm resistance in the secondary) and replaced with a new coil - car fired right up!

Must have been a wild coincidence? Coil on it's last legs?

what PIP voltage did you get during crank?
