Kennedy is a joker. Mike @ Powerhouse in Erie, PA is awesome. Believe me, both have tuned my cars.

Was there a huge difference in tuning between both tunners?
I had my old setup tuned at Kennedy's and the I was happy with it.
Your making me think to go a different route for tuning when I'm done with the new build. Info please.

Yeah, one is trained, keeps furthering his training and knows what the hell he's doing. The other one doesn't know a data log from a peanut log. I found him guessing at my MAF transfer function, to the point where I asked he take it off the rollers. FWIW, I knew more about the SCT program from my PRP and the Lasota training DVD, than he did. Scarey.

I second the quarterhorse, if you are close to albany rent one of the local dynos (preferably SYNAPSE MOTORSPORTS) and i can def give you a hand.

Just make sure whoever is tuning it uses something to datalog (Quarterhorse, Tweecer , or SnEEC) and you shouldnt have to worry as much

very cool, also i forgot about redline motorsports, they are in schenectady and i believe adam from pops uses howards dyno and im am almost positive that adam will travel to howards place for tunning sessions, maybe we can get a day setup that he can come out, i would love adam to fine tune my car a bit more and i would def be into splitting a dyno day. If you are interested let me know and ill give adam a ring and see if he is available and when and see if he has any time setup that he is indeed going to be comming back to redline. Also, here is redlines website, howard tanner is the owner and is VERY knowledgable.

Never even heard of this guy... I have heard of POPS tho, it's a cheesy spin-off of MOMS racing.

I took my Lightning to these guys a few years back when they first opened and they had the truck for a few days. They kept saying their was a problem with the mass air conversion (when it was the computer). Either way I'd think a good tuner could root that out. He didn't charge me too bad, for the time he put into it. However, I was led in the wrong direction and in the end had to take it to another tuner.

LMFAO adam is not a "cheesy spin off" he is prob one of the best sn95 tuners in the country. He may not have a huge shop, but he does have access to anything he would need at redline and in his home town.

Adam knows what he is doing. Front to back, top to bottom, he will take what ever time it takes to do the job right and professionally. He will travel to Howards shop and do a dyno tuning day if multiple cars show up (to help split the cost).

Another thing to think about is most everyone is taking there vehicle to the dyno for two reasons.

1. the obvious to tune their car for reliabilty and insurance it won't eat $h!t
2. a dyno number to brag about

with that being said Mike @ Powerhouse in Erie, PA has a very nice setup but unfortunately if you are looking for the 2nd reason; he has a mustang dyno. So your numbers are going to be lower.

Now before someone jumps on me saying cr@p about that I am not saying a dynojet is better or vise versa...just saying if you are the guy looking for a number you should probably look for a tuner with a dyno jet.
