if the car is running 10.00 on motor how much time should i cut off when i spray a 250 shot? the car is built well so more hp wont spin the tires. i know it is a very broad question.
i am only looking for a guess...or an "about"

if its not friendly nos cam then it will not pick up much at all, but if the cam likes it then you will like it, also, deff start low, i have seen cars that went like crazy on a 50 shot, but anything bigger and they hardly reacted to it..

like others said, it dependes on the setup. my 377 is a nitrous motor and runs 10.40's n/a i put the 150's in it and it went 9.24@144 are 8's on 200 possible? it would be awsome!!

Back in the day a buddy of mine had a 90' coupe,3250lbs,
carbed 418w,
canfields,.700+ solid roller,
Glide w/brake and 4.10s, 28x10.5 slicks.

It went 10.30's-.40's on motor and it went 8.80's with a 250 shot NOS Fogger kit. 5.57 1/8th. 1.25 60ft

It also went 9.40's on a 100 shot NX plate kit.

A friend of mine his car went 11.60's on motor & 8.68 on a 250 shot, this motor was built for the spray only as u can tell by the numbers. Dart block 434 ci with a custom cam & a set of fully ported vics jr's

I have a friends car like that. 11.00 on motor and 8.6Xs with nitrous. On motor the car is a dog, but spray it and it screams.

A 347 running 10.00 is most likely more setup for n/a performance. You need to be certain that the motor is setup for a big shot of nitrous, meaning rings gapped properly, very exhaust biased cam, big heads, tight converter, etc...

You don't just slap a 250 shot on a motor and expect it to run good. Anything over a 150 shot, the motor really needs to be setup to handle it.

All that said, my 427 is setup for more n/a performance and has been 10.37 on motor at 131. I'd expect to run 9.60-9.80 on a 100 shot and be out of gear on the top end.

All that said, take that Dart 347, with big heads/intake and nitrous cam, with about a 4500-5000 rpm stall and 7500 rpm shift point, and it could run in the 8s on the 250 shot.
