347 horsepower rating?

Hey guys, i found a scat 347 stroker kit with scat i-beam rods, scat flat top pistons, and a scat crank. And was just wondering if anybody has this kit? And how much horsepower does a 347 with a good set of heads usually put out? And if so what kind of heads would you use, i was thinking maybe some Trick Flow twisted wedge series? thanks,
justin

347 will put down 320-420+rwhp depending
on parts, compression and rpm.

Get a custom cam and whatever heads the cam maker
tells you the cam is made for.
The cam maker will help you set your hp goal, streetability, compression ratio, ect. ect.

Scat is one of the top brands on the market for kits. The crank and rods will be quality parts. They don't make pistons though so they will be reboxed KBs if they are "Scat" pistons.

347

Be careful with compression.

My last 347 I went 10.5 to 1 and had problems
on the street. We only have 93 octane here and
quality varies. At times with only 28 degrees of
total timing it would ping.

Looking back I would have went 8.5 or 9 and 36 degrees
of timing and looked at forced induction if I really wanted
to give more hp.

What was nice though with 36 degrees timing and 104
it went 11.20 na.

Good luck man that is a good kit you have, dont worry about that.

thanks for the help guys, yea what i meant to say about the pistons is the kit comes with Kieth Black flat tops, so gas shouldnt be a problem, yea here in nc there are a few places that have 100 and 104 octane.
