I am planning on just getting rid of the pcv system. I don't want to be blowing oil into my intake trying to keep a closed system. I am blowing some oil out the rear main seal I want it to breath as much as possible
I run two lines, one ID 5/8" from the PCV, one ID 3/8" from the valve cover filler neck, both into Moroso PN 85473. No lines into the intake manifold, no possible way for oil to get into the intake. 5/8" & 3/8" provide plenty of ventilation for an NA small block.
I made my catch can for around $30 in parts and I drain it every 1000 miles or so, and have had no more oil seeping past grommets, and the oil that goes into the engine, if any, is significantly reduced.
