Thats really good compared to what I run with 306 w/ stock crank & rods, speed pro forged pistons, ported GT-40 heads, 1.6 RR, X-cam, edel rpm 2 intake, 75mm Throttle body, 30lb injectors & MAF, 1 5/8 header w/ 2.5" flowmaster dumps, 3.73s, T-5, 26x10 ET Drag, upper and lower control arms. Went 12.62 but im not exactly the best driver either
so.... congrats. Its nice to go fast for cheap |

Thanks guys. Its carbed so that helps too. I actually laughed when I was there and seen the numbers the little 306 ran.
If you look close, you will see my car(white hatch) in front of it with a 10.74 dial. I have a 9.2 deck with stock rods and stock crank and KB hyperutectic 13 cc dished pistons(9.8to1) with a custom flat solid in it. Ported Aussie 2V cleveland heads. 89 fuel and 7000 rpm shifts with 6000 Launch and all motor. MPH is 128 I drive it alot on the street. I do use a trailer at the track though. I don't want to leave the car behind if something breaks lolJoe |

I did a 3.85 stroke and 4.040 bore on a 9.2 Deck Small Block Ford. Yes it is a Cleveland.
Custom flat hydraulic Custom dished pistons Blue Thunder dual Plane intake 850 HP carb 3 inch exhaust 1 3/4 headers 4V Ported Heads This car is Bad to the Bone. For a big car it blazes the tires in the first three gears. TKO 600 in it. Customer is happy too. I have done a pile of cars and engines for customers. This one has not been to the track or dyno but I know it is in the 530 to 500 HP realm on 89 fuel. Drove this car and it is FUN!! It is 1 of about 1400 built and has factory gauges that find their way clear across the dash into the passenger side. Just a cool ride. ![]() ![]() I tried to start a new thread on this one. The site will not let me. Makes it hard to share. LOL Joe |
