I should also mention the low rpm drivability on this is outstanding...45mph, 1600rpm in 5th gear, no bucking at all...awesome job Ed

Does the cam card refer to it as a "street beast"?

Nope. SBF Rebel series

I had to install it at 2* retarded on the timing set. The .050" opening events are still about 1/2 a degree advanced...close as I could get it.

Very impressive track times. What sort of vacuum does it pull at idle?

i powershift that ho...i dont have time to be lifting my foot off the gas, wtf?!?! lol

stock-ish t5..rebuilt it all late last season(august maybe?) new 3rd gear, all new synchro's bearings, etc, steel bearing retainer and billet cluster support..tore it back apart this winter and added a new 2nd gear and 1-2 slider, cuz i ran out of cash during the first rebuild, otherwise those would have been replaced them...

so i made one pass last nite, with 2 full street tires/10 holes in the trunk/rear seat, and some other #### for added weight, short shifted at 5800 and left at 3900 on the 2 step, trying to sandbag cuz i dont have a rollbar yet..still went 11.45 @ 117mph

2nd pass, same setup, hit 3rd, then 3rd hit me back lol

i have over 400 powershifted passes on this trans in the past 3 years with the last h/c/i combo..this setup lasted about 8 passes hahaha

lol I figured you were power shifting. I was just curious, I've got a stock t5 (minus steel bearing retainer) behind my motor. Yours took a beating before giving out though, tough little t5.

Very nice times on the track for the dyno numbers. I wish my turd was that light. I need to find out how much my car weighs and put it on a diet somehow. I would really be flying if I can take a lot of weight out of my car and be as light as yours.

DA on those passes was about 1250ft

heads were milled .005"
i went thru the heads with some 80grit cartridge rolls and smoothed out the rough casting marks, and blended the bowls a bit..didnt remove much material at all..was too afraid to ruin them

3rd gear doesnt work anymore
