Make sure you get BE with the new dongle option. I've had to pay for a few licenses due to laptop failures and new laptops. Clint doesn't care what excuse you come up with. The dongle will save you from having to shell out more money in the future.
I am still reading up on the basics.whats a good resource book for tuning the eecIV using Clint Garritys software? I assumed it would be senseless to order software to one computer only.
I know Power Adder Solutions has the QH for $239 shipped. EECTuning is where you wanna go to learn about using Binary Editor and tuning your ride with the Quarterhorse.
If you have a dedicated tuning computer (with a long battery life) you really only need one computer and one license. Just take good care of it! I use a small Netbook with 8 hour battery.
You can download the software to multiple computers to view tunes and whatever, but you have to have a license on the computer that is gonna communicate with the QH.
Thanks for posting guys.Is there a walkthrough type basic tuning book to be had anywhere?I have been reading up on EEC tuning (website), Just not completely understanding everything I read yet.Does one have to have a Wideband to do some good?
